Breath-taking views from the balcony made our stay nice. The restaurant menu could use improvement.

We truly enjoyed the queen room which was impeccably clean and modest with the most beautiful views. The breakfasts were very very good with tea or coffee, cheeses and a quick coffee.

Loved the fine views of Lake Lucerne! The location offered a peaceful vibe while still being close to the city. Staff were super helpful, especially during dinner. Just wish the breakfast had more gluten-free options!

Loved the place, had a real good stay for three nights. The location was beautiful and magnificent for exploring this pretty quiet area, not far from boats crossing the lake make a stop and the shore of Lucerne lake. I ate at the outdoor restaurant near the hotel.

The view of Lake Lucerne from the balcony was amazing. The location offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation, yet the town is only 20 minutes away by bus. A bus stop is conveniently right in front of the hotel, made transportation easy. The hotel staff was helpful, particularly during our dining experience. We enjoyed meals from the outdoor dining area overlooking the lake, although the menu could use a bit more variety. The room was new and comfortable with lovely views. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room was not functioning well, but a fan was provided for comfort. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall ambiance and facilities were nice.

Quiet, beautiful view and comfortably large, well appointed room with fine balcony and - unusual - not one but three chairs!
Alas, dinner was a disaster. My 'Tempura' fillets of lake perch looked as though they had come from a supermarket freezer, but tasted even worse; heavy batter and barely detectable slivers of overcooked fish. Minute bed of tired spinach; tartare sauce out of a bottle. My husband's 'cordon bleu' was tasteless and heavy as lead; he fed part of it to our dog. Result: they were both very sick in the night. So the problem is not just the chef, but the kitchen... I informed the reception on leaving.

The view from the terrace and the lakeside rooms is absolutely stunning, and if you get a mountain view on on of the top floors (like I did), the view is also very good (Mount Pilatus and some beautiful trees). The bus stop and the boat pier are right in front of the hotel, and a bus trip to downtown Luzern only takes about 15 minutes. The rooms we got were spacious and clean, and the food at the restaurant was pretty good, although fairly expensive. Unlike in many other places in Europe, parking spaces in front of the hotel are wide enough to accommodate even large SUVs. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Fine views and lovely vibes in Lucerne 🌊🏔️
Man, the views from my room were proper fine! Waking up to that koppie view every morning was a vibe. The brekkie spread was lekker, a real treat to start the day! Plus, the access to the lake is just the cherry on top.
But yeah, the staff at the reception could do with a bit of that spark, felt a bit flat, you know?

View from the room was exceptional and the breakfast was best in Europe.
People are allowed to smoke in food area. Not good.

Quiet location, beautifull lake view from our room. Breakfest was nice, Very good parking ,and good bus connection to luzern (where parking is difficult).
Room design is oldfashioned and needs refurbishing. The bathroom was very small, and though renovated, had an old damaged wash basin made of enameled metal.

No air conditioning leads to uncomfortable heat during stay!!! Restaurant service quality inconsistent!!! Limited parking availability during busy times can be frustrating!!! Management responses to complaints underwhelming!!!

The hotel is in a beautiful position. View from lakeside rooms are excellent. Good breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff.
The bathroom although well equipped is very tiny. The pillows are far too soft and no alternative was available.
